Fender’s Mustang I and II amplifiers arrived in summer 2010 and quickly scrapped their way to the top of the practice amp pile. It wasn’t too long ago that practice amps had only one drab sound and a speaker no better than the one inside the FM radio in your kitchen. If you were lucky enough to have an overdrive channel onboard, it was raspier than a tin full of bees.
